Information on FAFSA

All T.E.A.C.H. Rhode Island applicants are required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application annually.

The FAFSA, part of the U.S. Department of Education, allows you to apply for federal aid online. If you cannot complete this application online, go to the college financial aid office or your public library to get the paperwork to do by mail. You must complete a new FAFSA for each new school year.

Once you have submitted your FAFSA application, you will be sent an award letter from your college. You may be offered federal, state and local grants, as well as, loans (which require repayment). T.E.A.C.H. does not encourage the use of student loans unless absolutely necessary. If you have any questions please call the T.E.A.C.H. offices.

Visit the FAFSA website for more information.
